Position Type: Part-Time (approximately 6 months per year)
Position Overview
Arizona Advanced Surgery (AAS) is seeking a General Surgeon to join our Surgicalist
program at Banner Desert Medical Center (BDMC), one of Arizona’s premier tertiary care
hospitals.
This role is ideal for surgeons who enjoy acute care surgery, hospital-based practice, and
collaborative care in a high-acuity setting. As a member of our surgicalistcan team, you
will focus exclusively on inpatient surgical care, working alongside an experienced
physician-led group committed to high-quality outcomes and efficient hospital care.
The position offers a unique schedule structure with approximately half-year clinical
coverage, providing significant time away from the hospital working two weeks on/two
weeks off.

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and collaborative team practice
- Experience in acute care or hospital-based surgery preferred, but not required
