Job Description & Requirements

• Number of Staff – ~150
• Type of staff: 1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters
• Patient Ratios – RN 1:8 shared nursing model
• Type of equipment – Glucometer, office equipment, O2, tube feeding
• EMR – Meditech
• Typical Procedures:
  • Deliver direct physical and psychosocial care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provide holistic, individualized care appropriate to the age of the patient.
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety and oversee compliance with core measures for applicable patients.
  • Participate in development and implementation of plan of care.
  • Communicate the elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention and promote collaboration within the health team.

Must Haves:- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred- A recent 12 months of BHU RN experience in an acute hospital setting- ID RN License- BLS and CPI CertificationsPreferred or Nice to Have:- MediTech Experience- Travel Experience- 1 year chemical dependency/psychiatric experience or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field.
