HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: LDRP- Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

• Number of Beds - 7
• Number of Staff – 4 night nurses on staff currently
• Shift for the Traveler --- Night Shift
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech
  • Night Shift – 2 RN and 1 Scrub Tech
• Patient Ratios – 1:3 variable by census and acuity
• Type of equipment – GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vac., Koala IUPC
• EMR – Epic and CPN connect
• On Call Requirements: 2 shifts on call per four-week schedule
• Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffing
• Typical Procedures:
  • Induction, C-Section, Vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions and bilateral tubal ligation
  • Triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, IUFD care
• Floating: Mom/Baby, if needed

Must Haves:- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred- A recent 12 months of L&D RN experience in an acute hospital setting- OR circulator experience- AK RN License- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN intermediate CertificationsPreferred or Nice to Have:- Perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE- Be stork nurse and transition baby at delivery- EPIC Experience- Travel Experience
