OB Hospitalist Locums - Ohio

Join our OB Hospitalist team near a major Ohio city, with emergency privileges available for swift onboarding.

Highlights

• Nocturnal schedule - comprehensive overnight OB coverage
• Collaborate with certified nurse midwives (CNMs)
• Emergency privileges expedite start
• No GYN call - focus solely on obstetric care

Practice Setting

• Work within a collaborative team of OB/GYNs and CNMs
• Provide care for four private practice groups
• Manage an average of 45 deliveries per month

Schedule

• 7 PM to 7 AM - Nocturnal shifts
• No call required - maximize time between shifts
• Only 1-2 weeks per month - you pick the dates

Cases and Procedures

• Handle triage, labor & delivery, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Oversee and support CNMs during shifts
• Provide back-up OB on-call support for private practices

Requirements

• Must have an active Ohio license
• Experience with OB triage and delivery management
