ER RN Travel Job Details

• Location: Springfield, Vermont 05156
• Assignment Length: 26 weeks (12/15/2025 – 6/15/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Active Vermont RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience in a hospital setting
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Travel nursing experience (minimum 3 months preferred)
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Reliable transportation (must have own vehicle)
• Profile must include permanent address, work history, skills checklist (updated within 1 year), and at least one supervisory reference from the past two years
• Local travelers (within 50 miles of Springfield, VT) are not eligible

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients promptly upon arrival to the Emergency Department
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care for a variety of medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergency situations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Provide clear communication and education to patients and their families
