ICU Nursing Job Details

• Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) – Treasure Valley
• Healthcare Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Critical Care Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Start Date: November 1, 2025
• End Date: May 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:00pm), every other weekend
• Floating: Required to float to other ICUs in Meridian and Nampa; may float outside ICU as a 1:1 sitter
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Active Idaho RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficient in titrating critical care drips (Dopamine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Cardene, Nitro, Neosynephrine, Vasopressin, Diltiazem, Insulin, Esmolol)
• Experience with Epic EMR charting system preferred
• Ability to read and monitor cardiac strips independently
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a combined MICU/SICU unit
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Titrate and manage a wide range of critical care drips
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and CNAs
• Float to other ICU units within Treasure Valley as required
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient monitoring
