Facility: Merit Health River Oaks
Schedule:
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour Nights)
- Days: Alternating weekends required
- Shift Type: Nights (3x12s; 3/2 split available upon traveler request)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Length: 8 weeks (56 days)
- Start Date: ASAP
Pay:
- Bill Rate: $70/hr
Assignment Details:
- Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
- Reason for Opening: Vacant position
- No. of Positions: 1
- Duties: Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med Surg patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements:
- License: Active RN license (state or compact)
- Certifications: BLS required
- Experience:
- Recent Med Surg experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Distance Requirement: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility
- Submissions: Applications missing required documents (BLS, Cerner verification, proof of address) will be rejected
Additional Information:

- Floating: May be required to float to other Med Surg or related units as needed
- Scrubs / Dress Code: Clean, professional scrubs (color per facility policy)
