- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
- Start Date: November 17, 2025
- End Date: February 16, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Hours per Week: 40
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- On-Call: Rotating on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (average 7-9 days of call per month; 20-minute response time required)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact state (required for travel nursing jobs)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- Current ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or ability to obtain within three months of hire
- Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques in the operating room
- Solid understanding of patient safety protocols and clinical precautions
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening)
- Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing circumstances
- Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- Preferred: Experience with surgical procedures, pre-op and/or PACU, and independent care of surgical patients during emergency call cases
OR RN Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Circulate and assist in the operating room for a variety of surgical cases, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Obstetrics (C-sections)
- Respond rapidly and accurately to trauma and emergency cases in the ER
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques at all times
- Collaborate with the surgical and healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrate emotional and physical stamina in a rural hospital setting
