• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• On-Call: Rotating on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (average 7-9 days of call per month; 20-minute response time required)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact state (required for travel nursing jobs)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Current ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or ability to obtain within three months of hire
• Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques in the operating room
• Solid understanding of patient safety protocols and clinical precautions
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening)
• Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing circumstances
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Preferred: Experience with surgical procedures, pre-op and/or PACU, and independent care of surgical patients during emergency call cases

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Circulate and assist in the operating room for a variety of surgical cases, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Obstetrics (C-sections)
• Respond rapidly and accurately to trauma and emergency cases in the ER
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques at all times
• Collaborate with the surgical and healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrate emotional and physical stamina in a rural hospital setting
