Requirements & Qualifications

• Active RN License – Must hold a valid Hawaii RN license
• Certifications Required:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Clinical Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PICU or pediatric critical care experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and pediatric hemodynamics
  • Experience caring for patients with multi-system trauma, congenital heart disease, and post-surgical care
  • Familiarity with family-centered care models and pediatric sedation protocols
  • Ability to respond effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
  • Experience with pediatric electronic charting systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) preferred
