Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVPICU night shift position requiring floating to multiple pediatric units and an active OH or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU within a hospital setting
- Float to NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and med-surg units as needed
- Night shifts, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:30
- Floating to other pediatric and critical care units is mandatory
- Provide clinical care to complex pediatric cardiovascular patients
- Be prepared to float and take appropriate assignments in various pediatric units as needed
- No local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius
- Strict punctuality and attendance requirements are enforced
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license in hand
- Approximately 2 years of pediatric critical care RN experience preferred
- Two supervisory references required, with one from a manager or supervisor
- Candidates must not have worked as a permanent employee at this facility within the past 2 years
