Inpatient Rehab RN-Aspirus Wausau
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
Primary Location: Aspirus Wausau Rehab unit
Shift Requirements: 12 hour variable shifts. 7a-730p, 7p-730a
every other weekend and holiday rotation
Float Requirements: float to all inpatient units as needed
On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours
Required Certifications: WI RN, AHA BLS
Minimum Experience: 1 Year Medical Surgical Rehab experience (a plus but not required) - OR - nurses with M/S background. Experience REQUIRED in an inpatient hospital setting (STAC).
Charting Experience Required : Epic Preferred
Required Skillset: Rehab Knowledge
Primary Cases; Stroke, Trauma, Debility, amputation, Cardiac
Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio):12 beds Inpatient Rehab Patient Ratio 1:4-1:6 PM 1:8 Nights
Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
Scrub Colors: any color
Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
travelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census. If called back in, they will have call back pay.
GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an Aspirus policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.
