Full-Time Employee (Private Large Central New Jersey Radiology Group)
$550,000 Base + Bonus + Benefits
A large, well-established central New Jersey radiology group is seeking a Lead Breast Imaging Radiologist to provide
full-time coverage at an affiliated hospital breast center in an affluent suburban setting.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical:
- Interpret high-volume:
- Mammography (2D/3D)
- Breast ultrasound
- Breast MRI
- Perform image-guided procedures:
- Stereotactic, ultrasound-, and MRI-guided biopsies
- Communicate with referring physicians and care teams
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary collaboration
Leadership:
- Serve as Lead Interpreting Physician at the hospital site
- Oversee daily workflow
- Act as primary liaison between hospital breast center and the radiology group
- Support program growth and operational efficiency
Accreditation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- MQSA requirements
- ACR accreditation standards
- Oversee QA/QI programs and peer review (EQUIP)
- Oversee audit and regulatory documentation
Qualifications
- MD/DO, Board Certified/Eligible in Radiology
- Breast Imaging Fellowship trained
- Active NJ license (or ability to obtain)
- High-volume breast imaging experience
- Experience with MQSA/ACR processes
