Requirements:

• Education: Associates Degree or Vocational Degree
• Experience: 2+ years of Echo Tech experience in the Inpatient Hospital Setting
• Licensure:
  • RCS
  • RDCS
• Certifications: BLS
• Skill Set:
  • Maintain a current registry or certification in Adult Echo
  • Maintain a current registry or certification in vascular ultrasound
• Typical Procedures: The majority of the patients for this area are being treated for cardiac problem. The patients are undergoing testing using ultrasound. The patients can be of a high acuity. The patients can range from neonatal to geriatric. The exposure to body fluids and blood is always present. Due to the stat nature of the procedures the area can be very stressful to work in.
