Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking emergency medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment in South Carolina. This opportunity offers a chance to provide emergency care in a smaller hospital environment with tailored shifts, a manageable census, and supportive clinical infrastructure.

- Coverage dates in July and August
- Community hospital setting with 10 beds
- Estimated patient volume: approximately 13 patients per day
- Shift coverage options: 7a to 7p and 7p to 7a
- No support staff (no APCs) and single coverage
- Smaller facility, lower census environment

Schedule Details
- Must be able to pick up 3+ shifts during the specified dates:
- July: Nights (19th, 20th); Days (21st, 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 27th, 30th)
- August: Nights (1st, 2nd, 5th, 17th, 18th, 24th-30th); Days (1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 14th, 21st-23rd, 28th-29th)
- Shifts are scheduled from 7a to 7p or 7p to 7a
Clinical Scope
- Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency department patients
- Management of common medical, traumatic, and procedural presentations
- Documentation within the EMR system
- Responsible for patient discharge, transfer, and admission decisions
- Ability to handle a lower-volume, community environment with limited support staff
Candidate Requirements
- Active South Carolina medical license
- MD degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM required)
- No new graduates considered
- Temp privileges approved
- Availability to work scheduled shifts (specifically nights or days as listed)
- Must be comfortable working with minimal support staff (no APCs)
- Availability to pick up multiple shifts in July and August
