Practice Overview
- You'll work alongside a team of laborists, OBs, and 24/7 NP support in a collaborative inpatient setting
- Practice within a hospital featuring a Level III NICU, in-house OB anesthesia, and pediatric hospitalist support
- Approximately 1,700-1,800 deliveries annually with ~1,000 managed by the hospitalist team
- Dedicated OB ED, OR access on the floor, centralized fetal monitoring, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration
Schedule
- 8 in-house 24-hour shifts per month with flexibility to pick up additional shifts
- True shift-based model with no clinic responsibilities and defined time off
- Additional shifts available at increased hourly rate
- Built-in support structure with NP coverage and designated rest areas
Compensation & Benefits
- $190/hour with annual earnings around $437,000 based on standard shifts
- Additional shifts paid at $215/hour for increased income potential
- Sign-on bonus, relocation, and student loan assistance available
- Full benefits including retirement plans with match, malpractice with tail coverage, and CME allowance
Candidate Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Experience preferred, but open to physicians coming out of training
- Comfortable managing labor and delivery, OB emergencies, and inpatient care
- Open to both U.S. and international graduates; visa sponsorship available
