Exciting opportunity to join the inaugural Ascension Seton OB Hospitalist group in Austin, Texas!
Are you ready to be a foundational part of something historic? Ascension Seton is launching its inaugural OB Hospitalist program, coinciding with the grand opening of our state-of-the-art Women’s Health Tower at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin.
We are seeking passionate, adaptable OB/GYNs to join a dedicated team providing 24/7 onsite coverage. This is a rare opportunity to step away from traditional private practice administrative burdens and step into a role where you can focus purely on clinical excellence, patient safety, and shaping the culture of a brand-new flagship program. With three distinct site options and highly flexible scheduling, you can design a career that truly fits your lifestyle.

Base Salary: Hourly $150-200/hr
Other Incentives: Malpractice coverage with tail
$7000 CME yearly, 5 CME days | Full-time
Signing bonus | Full-time
About the Practice
Practice Setting: Inpatient only
Employed physician within a nonprofit Catholic health system
Choice of 3 initial sites with high, medium, and low acuity
Full-time 120 hours/month; Part-time 60 hours/month
NICU staffed with Dell Children's Neonatologists
Serving the Austin proper population of approximately 1.02 million and Round Rock population of 142,000

Requirements
Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics & GynecologyBoard Certified or Board Eligible by ABOGCurrent Texas medical license (or eligibility) and DEA registration by start date
Prior experience as an OB hospitalist or in high-acuity obstetrics preferred but not required.
