Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Des Moines, IA Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Gastroenterologist Des Moines, Iowa Permanent Inpatient hospital-based role with ERCP capability • Adult inpatient and outpatient care • 24-hour call starting October 2025 Opportunity Details • Location: Des Moines, IA • Assignment Type: Permanent • Setting: Hospital inpatient and outpatient environment • Coverage: 24-hour call from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., ongoing from October 2025 • duration: initial 2-week shift, with potential for permanent placement Schedule & Coverage • 24-hour call shift starting October 2025, ongoing Clinical Scope • Conduct inpatient consults and procedures, including ERCP (EUS highly preferred) • Perform 3-4 outpatient procedures daily • Managed adult patient population in hospital setting • Use of EMR: Cerner Requirements • MD degree • Iowa medical license accepted • Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain rapidly • Board Certified (ABIM – Gastroenterology preferred) Practice Environment • Adult inpatient care in a hospital setting in Des Moines, IA • ERCP procedures included in scope • EMR system: Cerner Role Family and Differentiators • Inpatient adult care focus in hospital setting in Des Moines, IA
