PRN Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantMerit Health Natchez - Natchez, Mississippi
Merit Health Natchez is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative inpatient medicine team in a flexible PRN capacity.

Position Highlights
- Status: PRN (As-Needed)
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (100% Daytime Coverage)
- Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate
- Practice Environment: Collaborative, supportive inpatient hospital medicine setting
- Provide high-quality inpatient care and clinical management for hospitalized patients.
- Perform comprehensive clinical evaluations, daily rounding, admissions, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate closely with attending hospitalist physicians, nursing staff, and medical specialists.
- Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
- Licensure: Active Mississippi NP or PA license (or immediate eligibility to obtain).
- Certification: Board Certification as an APP (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
- Experience: Inpatient or acute care experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented hospital setting.
