Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift radiology position at an acute care hospital, requiring ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification and experience with a broad range of CT procedures.
Details
- 176-bed acute care hospital setting serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures include head/neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, CTAs, drainage, biopsies, and brain perfusions
- Equipment includes GE CT Optima 660 64-Slice scanner, contrast power injection system, and Philips Enterprise PACS
- EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)
- 12-hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 7-on/7-off schedule running Thursday through Wednesday
- Every other weekend rotation is included as part of the 7-on/7-off schedule
- No floating required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification required
- BLS required
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
- AL license required if applicable
- 1 reference from a charge-level position or above within the past 12 months required for consideration
- SSN, DOB (day and month) required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff must wait 6 months before being considered as a traveler
- Orientation consists of 1–2 shifts
- Travelers are expected to cover one major and one minor seasonal holiday per facility policy
- Specific blackout dates apply throughout the year including major holidays and select weekends — time off during these periods cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Free parking is available on-site
- An interview is required — this facility does not utilize auto offers
