Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in CT scanning, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and spine imaging, for a 13-week travel contract in Washington State.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ED coverage
- Level II Trauma Center experience is preferred
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Limited weekend shifts required
- Some on-call required
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- No floating between units within the facility
- Epic EMR preferred; Epic is required per facility guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) required
- BLS required
- Active Washington State imaging license required (license required if applicable)
- Proficiency in abdomen/pelvis (with and without contrast), chest, and spine imaging (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, musculoskeletal)
- Knowledge of radiation safety and contrast media preparation and/or administration
- Experience with brain perfusion and vascular CTA procedures
- Experience with GE and/or Siemens CT equipment
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across a broad range of study types including head and neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal, vascular CTA, and brain perfusion
- Experience starting peripheral IVs is preferred
- PACS and Siemens equipment experience preferred
- Pediatric acute care experience preferred
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in contract termination
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate
- Former permanent staff at a Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler, and must disclose any prior work at a Providence facility (location and dates) during consideration
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-submission RTO may not be approved
