Job Opportunity – Histologist Technician (HTL) – Idaho

Start Date: May 4, 2026

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days shift, 36 hours per week; shift times 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM; 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• Work with advanced histology equipment including Roche Benchmark Ultra IHC stainers, Sakura tissue processors, and Thermo Fisher embedding systems
• Perform immunohistochemistry stains and troubleshoot programs and protocols
• Small, close-knit team of 2 FTE staff providing collaborative support
• Comprehensive histology responsibilities including embedding, microtomy, IHC, and special stains
• Opportunity to work independently with minimal supervision in a professional lab environment
• Lab coats and professional work environment provided

Requirements:

• HTL (Histotechnologist) certification from ASCP required
• QIHC (Qualifications in Immunohistochemistry) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of histology experience in a hospital setting
• Demonstrated experience with IHC stains, troubleshooting programs and protocols
• Proficiency in embedding, microtomy, special stains, and managing/troubleshooting staining instrumentation
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
• Flexibility with scheduling and assignments
