Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for an assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures in an acute hospital setting, utilizing advanced imaging equipment and techniques. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Location: Anchorage, Alaska
- Shift: 4x10 Variable Shift, Hours per shift: 10 hours, Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (or ability to submit with pending license taking 10-12 weeks), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registered in MRI and Radiography, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 0 years of experience, and completion of Epic charting system training.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical records, prior MRI experience in acute care or ICU settings, and experience with the specific procedures and imaging techniques listed.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References covering 1 year within the past 3 years are required, including Charge RNs or Leads if applicable.
- Responsibilities: Performing MRI scans across a variety of body regions with specialized imaging techniques, working extensively with anesthesia and ICU patients. No on-call required.
- Orientation Hours: Not specified.
- Float: No clinician will not float within scope to meet facility needs.
