Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a pediatric hospital setting, requiring experience with neonatal through young adult populations and proficiency with GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient MRI setting at a pediatric specialty hospital
- Patient population ranges from neonates to 26 years of age
- Modalities and procedures include Neuro, Body, MSK, Angio, SPECT, and both sedated and non-sedated cases
- Equipment includes GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners, Bayer Injectors, Invivo Monitoring, and GE PACS
- EMR: Epic
- 5x8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday, approximately 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
- Weekend coverage may be required approximately once per contract
- No on-call required
Requirements
- Pediatric (Peds) experience required
- ARRT certification and current BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- Two supervisory references required for consideration (charge nurse references count as only one supervisory reference)
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must not have worked permanently for this facility within the past 2 years to be eligible
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Floating to different units is a standard expectation and requirement of the assignment
- 13-week contract
