Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 3+ years of experience and Siemens proficiency for an evening shift position at a Level I Trauma academic medical center in North Haven, CT.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center with 1,500+ beds
- Located at the North Haven campus
- 13-week contract
- Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Charting via Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- Siemens MRI equipment experience required
- Trauma center experience at a large facility required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification and applicable state license required if applicable
- Current BLS required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
- RTO of up to 7 days may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
- Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
