Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract in an acute care hospital's Cardiovascular Testing/Nuclear Medicine unit, requiring at least 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience along with CNMT or ARRT (N) certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a Nuclear Medicine/Cardiovascular Testing unit
- General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures performed
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week with flexibility to meet department needs
- No weekend shifts required
- No floating requirement
- On-call rotation required with a 1-hour response time; on-call hours are Monday–Friday 4:00 PM–7:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
- Charting performed in Cerner
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
- ISDOH required; CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
- BLS and NMTCB (PET) certification required
- CPR certification required
- License required if applicable
- PET/CT registration and/or experience preferred
- Y-90 Microsphere Therapy experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT duties
- Candidates located within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- No BSN required for this position
- First-time travelers will be considered as long as minimum requirements are met
