American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, with a focus on evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for a diverse inpatient population.
Details- Acute care hospital inpatient setting
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 10-week contract
- Current, active OT license (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in acute care hospital setting
- Proficiency in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge coordination
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care with measurable outcomes
- Complete accurate and timely patient documentation reflecting treatment responses and care plan changes
- Coordinate patient and family education, equipment needs, and discharge planning based on identified needs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, initiating consults as appropriate
- Candidates must be nicotine-free
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a reduced pay rate compared to the travel rate
