American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, with a focus on evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for a diverse inpatient population.

• Acute care hospital inpatient setting
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 10-week contract

• Current, active OT license (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in acute care hospital setting
• Proficiency in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge coordination

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care with measurable outcomes
• Complete accurate and timely patient documentation reflecting treatment responses and care plan changes
• Coordinate patient and family education, equipment needs, and discharge planning based on identified needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, initiating consults as appropriate
• Candidates must be nicotine-free
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a reduced pay rate compared to the travel rate
