Must have BLS certification. Must have 5 years recent Pharmacy Managerial experience in a hospital setting preferred. Availability by phone for issues is required. Description: The Pharmacy Manager serves as the Pharmacist in Charge as defined by the State Board of Pharmacy. This position reports to the Market Director of Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the supervision of daily departmental work activities and assigned staff. This includes managing work schedules and assignments. The Pharmacy Manager will carry out the dispensing and clinical functions as part of their job description. They will develop and implement systems and processes to ensure regulatory compliance. Continuous quality assurance and performance improvement are also key responsibilities. The Pharmacy Manager acts as a resource to staff regarding education, orientation, and standard operating procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
