Contract | Days | 3x12 shifts | 36 hours weekly guaranteed | 13-week assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in the treatment of patients with conditions affecting the cardiopulmonary system
• Act as an advanced resource person for all other staff on the respiratory unit
• Function within the scope of respiratory care established by the Missouri Board of Respiratory Care guidelines
• Perform duties consistent with established mission, values, and service standards
• Be available for on-call hours as needed during off-duty hours
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient care management

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a COARC/AARC/NBRC approved Respiratory Therapy program
• Must hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from the Missouri Board of Respiratory Care
• Must be registered through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP or PEARS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1 through April 1 (exemptions subject to client approval)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with patients with cardiopulmonary conditions in an acute care or hospital setting
• Well-rounded clinical background with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
