Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist with RDMS certification and a minimum of 2 years of sonography experience, including vascular and echo expertise.
Details
- 13-week travel contract with 40 hours per week
- Monday through Thursday, 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Rotating on-call shifts on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- General sonography setting with vascular and echocardiography cases
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sonographer in a U.S. hospital setting
- Must be a general sonographer with vascular and echo experience
- RDMS certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Graduate of an accredited sonographer program required
- Active license required, if applicable — no pending licenses accepted
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- New graduates will not be considered
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- U.S. SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunction
- Operates sonographic equipment, records diagnostic images, and communicates results of examinations
- Responsible for patient safety protocols across a variety of imaging procedures
- Provides age-appropriate care for all patient populations served
- CPI certification is mandated for this position
